The Neroche Villages website serves the area of rural Somerset between Taunton to the north and the Blackdown Hills to the south that lies in the local government area of Neroche Parish Council

There are four civil parishes: Bickenhall, Curland, Orchard Portman with Thurlbear, and Staple Fitzpaine which are named after local villages and hamlets

There is no village or parish called Neroche.  Instead the Neroche Villages website takes its name from the Neroche Parish Council in order to define the area it serves

The name Neroche comes from the ancient Forest of Neroche that used to cover part of the parishes

The Neroche Parish Council Boundary Map shows the boundaries of the four parishes of Bickenhall, Curland, Orchard Portman with Thurlbear, and Staple Fitzpaine.  Once you know the parish you live in you can contact your councillor by going the Parish Council page of the website
