Women's Institute

Our local Bickenhall and District WI, formed in 1926, meets on the second Wednesday of each month, a small but happy band of ladies where ages range from 30’s to a wonderful 90 years of age

Our meetings are always full of interesting conversation, laughter and friendship. We start
our meetings with a rousing rendition of Jerusalem followed by WI news and community
events.

Each month we invite a speaker to join and entertain us - see our programme below.

We would be delighted to see you, either as a member or as a visitor (£3).

Don’t put us in the box of just jam and Jerusalem, come and see what we have to offer in the way of new skills and knowledge.

We meet on 2nd Wednesday of the month at Neroche Hall

The next community litter pick up day is planned for

If you have a high viz jacket, suitable gloves, pickup sticks please bring these along; alternatively these will be provided.

Resulting from the parish plan, a Litter Action Group has been formed to keep our parish grass verges clean and tidy

We are looking for volunteers (min age 16 years) to:

 Join in community pick up days to deal with the parish ‘black spots’.

 Adopt a stretch of road and be responsible for keeping it free of litter

If you are able to offer a couple of hours on the day please join us as above or contact for more information: Anthony Brown: 01823 480441 Jayne Hunt: 01823 480113
