Attend Neroche Parish Council Meetings

Become a Parish Councillor

Neroche Parish Council is composed of local residents, elected every four years to represent the four parishes of Bickenhall, Curland, Orchard Portman with Thurlbear, and Staple Fitzpaine.  It is supported by the Clerk to the Council.

If you are interested or concerned about a local issue, consider discussing it with a parish councillor, or the Clerk to the Council to obtain advice or assistance.

You can also raise the matter at a meeting of Neroche Parish Council.  Members of the public are able to attend meetings and make representations, or give evidence on the issues under consideration, before the parish councillors make a decision.

The Council has developed an email list of residents to circulate electronically information which needs to be put out to the community. If you are not already included on the list and wish to be added click here and send a message to the Council.

Consider becoming a parish councillor.  Vacancies occur from time to time between the four yearly cycle of elections.  Whilst councillors are usually elected for the parish in which they live, you may be able to become a Neroche Parish councillor if the vacancy is in an adjacent parish.  Discuss your interest with the Clerk to the Council.
